Lingchuan Dog Meat

        Dog meat of Guangxi Guilin Lingchuan takes the honor of ‘the best dainty in the world’. Just like the old saying ‘we can’t control ourselves when see dog meat in the pot’ Lingchuan’s dog meat color is flesh, quality is good, aroma is dense, taste is great. There is a popular literary quotation in Lingchuan folks ‘seven didn’t wait for one’.It says long long ago, there were eight students went to the province for examination, seven went out of the examination room and looked for nip, then they found a Lingchuan dog meat booth, they all had appetite by the aroma of dog meat, so they send a guy return to the examination room to hasten the last person, while that person was still on his exam with no hurry, these seven couldn’t help eating despite of their honor gnationality. In every case of Lingchuan people’s forgathering and any important things, they all eat dog meat for fun, if there were friends come afar, they also treated them with dog meat, so there is a saying in mainland even including Guilin ‘god dog is in Lingchuan’.

Bama Delicious Pig

       Bama delicious pig comes from Guangxi Bama county that has the title of ‘world long life country’. Bama county is in deep mountain, natural environment is beautiful, indigenes like insipid food, unpolluted green food, so Bama people are healthy, hundred years old men are not rare here. Indigenes breed cute and small pigs, because of the local environment and natural resource, mature pig has only 4.5-6.5 kilos at most. It eats unpolluted food, its meat is tender and skin crisp, has peculiar good smelling, so it was called Bama delicious pig.
